My solo exhibition at the state art gallery has taken a full year of preparation.
It was a journey of anticipation and at times frustrations when the flow of working and creating was disrupted by 'unforseen circumstances' !
I had worked really hard, and able to balance life between two studios in different countries as well as funding for the expenses and projects.
There were another exhibition, right after Walking On Air,
Bornholm-Borneo Return, the duo exhibition with Swedish painter Jan Hällfors was one of a kind with our collaborative paintings of my figuratives and Jan's abstracts.
When the exhibitions were over in mid January. I headed for the colder climate zone, for a truly rejuvenating and restful retreat.
What a bliss.
