Forever Sommerfugl , Forever Butterfly

Living in Denmark, it is a wonderful way to experience life as it is so different from my homeland Sabah in many ways. The people, the culture, the landscape, the color of the surroundings and everyday things!

I want to find a relation between what is 'Here' and 'Me'.

So it is very natural but exciting when I thought of using catalogs from Kvickly , one of the superstore where I shopped for food and groceries for my next mixed media butterfly.
Literally answering the request for 'something the viewer can relate to and is colorful'
.... I do not consider so much about this untill I was working on the butterfly which was more of quenching my thirst for color after the Hare Day monochromical paintings.

Forever Butterfly , I have created this series in 2012, where an exhibition was held at my studio Art Base in Kota Kinabalu for ten mixed media butterfly panels. I had a lot of fun creating them, and I am enjoying doing this again.
