Week Two
Our dynamic Currator Jennifer Linggi of SAG has been a strong support in this project.
Besides trusting us with the location and expressions of our own choices to work, there are tremendous freedom in our activity, which is the most important for us .
Whenever there are visitors to the gallery, she would introduce them to our project and often sparked interesting conversations as well as updates of latest activities of art interests.
There is a stream of new breeze that is long anticipated.

and so as the week goes on..

'Happy Hour' ,my new bird connecting painting in progress.,

Hiroyuki and Shona , Japanese father and daughter who kept us company on a quiet Friday afternoon

Jan on the first day of the Wings project

Visitors get to experience interacting or watching artist at work,
which is maybe different from the general perception of portrait artists painting at busy market or commercial areas.

Ting (YeeTing) ..I am on the Borneo Endemic Birds,, of course!

Shantini, Marilyn, Hajah, Adeline, Jia Yee ..Future Educators of PIBG Tawau, pondering on  Jan's saying:
" my butterfly is a painting, it doesn't move , so I add some circles to show it's movement"

We are all students of Life events. Happy moment remains, are the Wings  ready to set - free?

The Live Painting activity is ongoing at Sabah Art Gallery's new venue.

Both Jan & I are working on the Project startng 8th January 2013 upon invitation by SAG.

Almost a week since we started to work on site SAG.
We made ourselves at home with the installation of our paintings on the display panels.
It feels privilege to be the first ones displaying works in the brand new gallery which is scheduled to launch on the 18th, 6 days from now.
